Terms of Use
Welcome to GoLink. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and GoLink (“GoLink,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your access to and use of the GoLink website, dashboard, APIs, link shortening, QR generation, and redirection services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing our applications, or using any link created through GoLink, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you possess the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not access or use the GoLink platform.
2. Eligibility & Account Security
You must be at least 16 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use GoLink. When registering an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep your credentials updated.
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at security@golink.buzz upon discovering any unauthorized access or security breach.
3. Workspaces & Team Roles
GoLink allows users to organize links under shared organizations and workspaces. Workspace owners have administrative authority to invite members, assign roles (e.g., Owner, Admin, Member), configure custom domains, and manage data.
The workspace creator and organization admins are responsible for all actions taken by invited members within the workspace scope.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
GoLink is committed to maintaining a secure and trusted web ecosystem. You agree not to use GoLink to shorten, direct, or facilitate links to any destination or content that:
Strictly Prohibited Activities:
- Distributes malware, ransomware, viruses, spyware, or malicious scripts.
- Conducts phishing, credential harvesting, impersonation, or financial scams.
- Engages in unsolicited bulk communications (spam), link farming, or SEO manipulation.
- Violates intellectual property rights, copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets.
- Hosts or links to non-consensual imagery, hate speech, violent extremism, or illicit goods.
- Attempts to probe, scan, or compromise our infrastructure or bypass rate limits.
We reserve the right to automatically inspect destination URLs, utilize threat intelligence feeds, and immediately deactivate or delete any link or account found in violation of this policy without prior notice.
5. Slugs, Vanity URLs & Domains
GoLink provides custom slugs (e.g., golink.buzz/your-brand) and custom domain connections. You agree not to select or use any slug or domain that:
- Infringes upon any third-party trademark, trade name, or service mark.
- Attempts to mislead users through typosquatting or brand impersonation.
- Matches reserved system keywords or administrative endpoints.
GoLink reserves the right to reclaim, reassign, or revoke any handle or vanity slug at its sole discretion if deemed misleading, infringing, or inactive.
6. Redirection & Service Levels
We operate redundant global edge infrastructure to deliver sub-millisecond link redirects. While we strive for 99.9% uptime, GoLink is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
We do not guarantee that redirection will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that destination websites will remain online, secure, or functional.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, title, and interest in and to the GoLink platform, including software, algorithms, user interfaces, branding, logos, documentation, and analytics engine, remain the exclusive property of GoLink and its licensors.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use GoLink for your business or personal purposes.
8. User Content & Licensing
You retain ownership of the URLs, campaign names, tags, and metadata you submit to GoLink. By creating links on our platform, you grant GoLink a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, transmit, format, and display such data solely to provide and improve our redirection and analytics services.
9. Subscriptions & Billing
GoLink may offer free and paid subscription plans. Paid tiers are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You agree to provide accurate billing details and authorize our payment processor to charge all applicable fees.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard settings. Cancellations take effect at the conclusion of the current billing cycle.
10. Suspension & Termination
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account from the dashboard settings.
GoLink may suspend or terminate your access immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you violate these Terms, our Acceptable Use Policy, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or if required by law.
11. Warranty Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. GOLINK DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE SECURE, TIMELY, OR ERROR-FREE.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GOLINK, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of these Terms or the use of GoLink shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the total amount paid by you to GoLink in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GoLink and its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your violation of these Terms, your destination URLs, or your infringement of third-party rights.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
